Ange Douglas BA (Hons), PG Dip
I’m Ange, a warm and compassionate Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with experience in treating various types of anxiety and depression. Utilising evidence-based strategies,
my approach is tailored to suit your personal requirements and is holistic, facilitating your unique journey towards psychological well-being.
As a registered social worker, I have been working with children and adults experiencing mental health difficulties since 2007 including working for the NHS as a psychotherapist.
I am also a qualified autism assessor with specialised training in both the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and the ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised).
My aim is to offer a space that is non-judgemental, collaborative and supportive. Our sessions will focus on helping you develop an understanding of your situation and thought patterns. We will explore coping mechanisms and strategies to reorganise unhelpful thoughts resulting in more positive feelings and behaviours.
I work face to face in Banbury (Oxfordshire) or online. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I provide a free initial 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your circumstances and determine whether I’m the best therapist for you
